Two weeks to go!
Well it’s been a while since the last post but that’s down to the fact that I keep putting it off. Procrastination is something that I find myself troubled with from time to time. Especially when I was in college. Essays would always be left until the last minute! I think I’m getting better though.
Just over two weeks to go now before I’m back at home in Ireland for the concerts in Galway and Dublin. So much work is being done by NUI Galway to help with these performances and I would like to thank them so much for the help. There is no way I’d have been able to put them together without them. I have finalized the list of songs for each so I’m happy to have that sorted. Now it’s just a case of singing through the rep to make sure it’s as fresh as can be.
I have a little tickle in my throat this week so I have not done any singing for the past couple of days. I get very fussy when it comes to protecting my voice so I do very very little if it feels at all unusual. So it’s plenty of water and fruit for me. I’ll be grand for the concerts though so no need to worry about that.
I’ve confirmed a Christmas performance in Dublin on Tuesday the 21st of December, at the beautiful St. Ann’s Church on Dawson Street, in the heart of the city. I’m planning on making that a very special evening so I’ll say more about it when everything is signed and sealed.
I think that’s all of my news. The rest of the day will be spent planning for next year and memorizing these pieces for the upcoming concerts.
Until next time….
